| Susan Aiello. Susan has a master’s degree in Public Administration and is currently the Executive Director of Mercy Residential Services. She has extensive experience in providing emergency shelter services in Rochester since 1984. She is an active member of the Council of Agency Executives and is a member of their Executive committee and their Best practices committee. She is a member of the Ad Council of Rochester’s Community Advisory committee and is a founding member of the Bensonhurst Neighborhood Association. |
Catherine Cerulli, J.D. Ph.D .Kate has a law degree and Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. She has extensive experience in domestic violence intervention services. She is currently the Director for the Laboratory of Interpersonal Violence and Victimization at the University of Rochester Dental and Medical School and maintains a joint appointment at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law Family Violence Clinic. A former board member of Alternatives for Battered Women in Rochester, she started the Safe Program for victims of domestic violence while working as a prosecutor in the Office of the District Attorney of Monroe County. |
| Natalie Cort, PhD. Natalie has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Program of Research and Innovation in Disparities Education (PRIDE) at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In her current position, she provides clinical care to patients at Strong Behavioral Health and conducts research on health disparities and intimate partner violence (IPV). She is in the process of developing a group interpersonal psychotherapy treatment for depressed women with IPV histories, in a community-based participatory research partnership with Alternatives for Battered Women. She is currently a member of the Laboratory of Interpersonal Violence and Victimization at the University of Rochester Medical School. Dr. Cort has also worked in the Rochester community as an IPV counselor at Alternatives for Battered Women and a family therapist at Mt. Hope Family Center. |
| Cynthia Falkoff. Cindy served as the Chairman of the Genesee Hospital Foundation for 8 years. She has been a board member at the Pluta Family Cancer Center in Henrietta and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Board. Ms. Falkoff has an undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of Michigan and attended the University of Rochester Graduate School. . |
| Mary Maida Felton Ph.D. Mary has a Ph.D. in molecular neuroscience. Previously, Dr. Maida Felton served as CFO for a privately held consulting firm involved in the development of commercial properties throughout the United States. In 2001, she established Sumavera Medical Innovations (SMI), providing medical professionals with the means to transfer privately held intellectual property (IP) into the marketplace. In 2004, Dr. Maida established The Medingen Group, LLC which houses and commercializes other technologies and medical inventions related to the fields of biomedicine, biotechnology and life sciences. In addition to her business activities, Dr. Maida retains a part-time position at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy, where her research laboratory focuses upon brain inflammation related to neuro-degenerative diseases and cancers. |
| Lauren Gallina. Lauren is an associate Board Member of Gilda’s Club where she has helped manage the Walk for Wellness. She has volunteered at the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital and Camp Open Arms assisting with children with cancer and their siblings. Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Advertising Specialization from Loyola College in Maryland. |
| Pam Herendeen PhD, R.N. P.N.P. Pam is a Senior Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Associate Professor of Nursing at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong (Rochester, NY). She is also a medical provider on the child abuse team at Strong (REACH). Pam lectures nationally and has published articles on a variety of child abuse topics. Pam was an integral member of the team that established the Bivona Child Advocacy Center in Rochester.. |
Judith Lines. Judy has extensive experience as a software engineer specializing in the field of higher education. She has served in volunteer roles for several Rochester agencies including Wilson Commencement Park, Mt. Hope Family Center, Daystar, School 22 and Pluta Cancer Center. |
Joyce Magee is married to James Magee, has two sons, Justin and Jordan and a daughter, Jaimie. She has been an active volunteer with the Crisis Nursery since its inception and has hosted the annual open house for three years as well as served as co-chairperson for the Valentine Gala. Joyce is a very active community volunteer who focuses on the needs of children through the following organizations: McQuaid Jesuit High School, Our lady of Mercy High School, American Red Cross, Daystar, Pluta Cancer center, St. Joseph Catholic School and Penfield Playmates Nursery School.

| Randy Shepard, CPA, FHFMA. Randy is a principal in The Bonadio Group’s Government and Union Division. He joined The Bonadio Group in 1997 after spending three years with Strong Memorial Hospital as a senior financial analyst. Randy has provided business, accounting and auditing services for a variety of tax-exempt clients such as healthcare and education for over 10 years. As a result of this work, Randy has developed extensive experience with respect to tax compliance and reporting requirements for tax-exempt organizations, as well as the evaluation and design of internal accounting systems, and grant funding requirements. Randy has served as engagement principal for a number of tax-exempt clients as well as playing a critically important role within the firm for the internal training on tax filing requirements for tax-exempt organizations. Randy’s experience also includes working with public authorities, municipalities, local development corporations and governmental not-for-profit subsidiary organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, where he served as the Chair on the Certification Committee of the Rochester Chapter. He is active in the New York State Governmental Finance Officers Association and has been a speaker for such organizations as HFMA, FMA, and Lorman Education. | Bonnie Venton. Bonnie is a married, stay-at-home mother who was also a founding board member of the Crisis Nursery of Greater Rochester in 2002. She previously worked in the fields of chemical dependency, mental health and criminal justice. Bonnie has spent a great deal of time over the course of the last 9 years volunteering in her children’s schools, her church and various charitable organizations in the Rochester area. Bonnie is a triathlete and a member of the fitness group Moms In Motion which also focuses on philanthropy within the local community. Bonnie has raced to raise money and awareness for such organizations as the Arthritis Foundation, Breast Cancer Coalition, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center and the Mary Cariola Center. Bonnie is committed to improving the lives of children and families of the Rochester area through her volunteer efforts. |
