- A family is in a car accident and the parents both require medical attention. The children are uninjured yet they do not have any family/friends living in the Rochester community. The children simply need a place to go for several hours until family can travel to Rochester to pick up the children and take them home.
- A caregiver requires medical treatment or surgery and has no child care options. The Crisis Nursery will care for children until the caregiver can be released and resume child care.
- A caregiver is experiencing a great deal of stress and is unable to safely care for his or her child. The Crisis Nursery will provide a safe haven for the child in order to avoid a potentially harmful situation for that child.
